Line of Research: Socioecological systems

Graduated, Master and PhD in Geography from PUC-Rio, with part of the PhD from the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UK). She is a researcher at the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS) and is part of the research groups: Integrated Landscape Management (PUC-RIO), Rio Conservation and Sustainability Science Center (CSRio) and the Laboratory of Biogeography and Historical Ecology (LaBEH). She has experience in the areas of environmental history, historical ecology, soil science and forest restoration in the Atlantic Forest. Aline worked and works in soil characterization projects and evaluation / valuation of ecosystem services of soils in agricultural, livestock and forestry systems.
